Dr. Anthony D. Jackson is the Founder, President and CEO of Growth Factor Consulting Group, LLC, an executive leadership and

organizational development firm helping leaders and organizations move from challenge to clarity, strategy, and measurable

results. A nationally recognized education leader with nearly four decades of experience, he works with superintendents,

executive teams, principals, school boards, and educational organizations in executive coaching, leadership development,

organizational strategy, strategic planning, and school and district improvement.

Dr. Jackson began his career as a teacher assistant and music educator and later served as an assistant principal, principal,

central office administrator, and superintendent. He ultimately led four public school systems: Henry County Public Schools in

Virginia and Nash-Rocky Mount Public Schools, Vance County Schools, and Chatham County Schools in North Carolina. That

experience shapes the Growth Factor approach - practical, strategic, and grounded in the realities of executive leadership,

governance, organizational culture, accountability, and change.

As Superintendent of Vance County Schools, Dr. Jackson led a period of significant improvement that included stronger

graduation outcomes, reductions in dropout rates and long-term suspensions, and the district's exit from low-performing status.

His leadership culminated in his selection as the 2020 A. Craig Phillips North Carolina Superintendent of the Year. In Chatham

County Schools, he led implementation of the ONE Chatham Five-Year Strategic Plan and guided significant academic and

organizational progress. During his tenure, the district achieved its highest graduation rate in district history, earned recognition

as a Cognia District of Distinction, and reached #1 in North Carolina for overall student growth.

Dr. Jackson's honors include the A. Craig Phillips North Carolina Superintendent of the Year, multiple Central Carolina Regional

Education Service Alliance Superintendent of the Year recognitions, the Friday Medal for Innovation in Technology from NC

State University's Friday Institute for Educational Innovation, the 2024 NCAE Superintendent of the Year, the 2026 NCASA

Raymond Sarbaugh Leadership Award, and the 2026 Duke Energy Citizenship and Service Award. He has also served as

President and Chair of the North Carolina School Superintendents' Association, taught aspiring educational leaders at the

university level, and coached and mentored current and aspiring superintendents and senior leaders.
