Growing Leaders. Strengthening Organizations.
Creating Lasting Impact.
About the Company
Experience. Strategy. Leadership. Results.
We help leaders and organizations move from challenge to clarity, from strategy to execution, and from possibility to measurable progress.
WHO WE ARE
Growth Factor Consulting Group, LLC is an executive leadership and organizational development firm dedicated to helping leaders and organizations strengthen performance, navigate complexity, and achieve sustainable results. Founded by Dr. Anthony D. Jackson, a nationally recognized education leader, executive coach, and four-time public school superintendent with nearly four decades of experience, Growth Factor was built on a simple belief: organizations grow when their people, purpose, strategy, and systems are aligned.
We bring the perspective of experienced practitioners to every engagement. We understand that
leadership is more than developing a plan or implementing a program. Leaders must simultaneously manage people, culture, governance, expectations, resources, accountability, change, and results. Growth Factor provides an experienced, confidential, and trusted strategic thought partner who helps leaders think critically, make informed decisions, and translate those decisions into action.
Our work is not built around generic solutions. We listen first. We seek to understand the organization, its people, its culture, its aspirations, and the conditions influencing its performance. From there, we help leaders identify what is working, confront what may be getting in the way, establish clear priorities, and build the capacity necessary to move forward. We do not simply advise organizations on what they should do. We work alongside leaders to help them do it well.
WHAT WE DO
Growth Factor partners with school districts, educational organizations, superintendents, executive leaders, principals, leadership teams, boards, and mission-driven organizations seeking to strengthen leadership and organizational effectiveness. Our services include executive and superintendent coaching, leadership development, strategic planning, organizational assessment and improvement, principal and executive-team development, leadership transition support, board and governance consultation, performance management, facilitation, and customized professional learning.
We are especially equipped to support organizations at critical points in their development - whether navigating a leadership transition, addressing performance challenges, strengthening organizational culture, developing emerging leaders, restructuring systems, establishing strategic direction, or moving an ambitious vision toward disciplined execution.
WHERE ARE YOU NOW?
WHERE DO YOU WANT TO GO?
WHAT MUST CHANGE TO GET YOU THERE?
THE GROWTH FACTOR APPROACH
We believe sustainable improvement rarely results from a single workshop, initiative, strategic plan, or
outside consultant. Lasting improvement occurs when leadership, strategy, people, culture, systems, and
execution work together.
1. LISTEN & UNDERSTAND We begin with context - listening to leaders and stakeholders, examining
available information, identifying strengths and challenges, and understanding the organization before
recommending solutions.
2. CLARIFY & ALIGN We help leaders distinguish symptoms from root causes, establish priorities,
define desired outcomes, and align people and resources around what matters most.
3. STRATEGIZE & DESIGN We translate priorities into actionable strategies, structures, tools,
responsibilities, and measures of success.
4. DEVELOP & EXECUTE Plans matter only when they change practice. We coach leaders and teams
through implementation while building the internal capacity necessary to sustain the work.
5. MEASURE & SUSTAIN We establish indicators of progress, examine results, adjust strategies when
necessary, and help organizations institutionalize effective practices.
The goal is not dependence on a consultant. The goal is stronger leadership and greater organizational capacity long after our engagement ends.
EXPERIENCE THAT INFORMS THE WORK

DR. ANTHONY D. JACKSON
Founder, President & CEO
Growth Factor is grounded in nearly four decades of real-world educational leadership. Dr. Jackson's career began as a teacher assistant and music educator and progressed through service as an assistant principal, principal, central office administrator, and superintendent. He ultimately led four public school systems - Henry County Public Schools in Virginia and Nash-Rocky Mount Public Schools, Vance County Schools, and Chatham County Schools in North Carolina.
His executive leadership experience spans organizational transformation, strategic planning, academic improvement, leadership development, talent
management, governance, community engagement, organizational culture, and complex change. He has also coached and mentored current and aspiring superintendents, developed principals and executive leaders, taught future educational leaders at the university level, and served as President and Chair of the North Carolina School Superintendents'
Association.
WHY GROWTH FACTOR?
Our name is intentional. Every leader and every organization has factors that accelerate growth - and factors that inhibit it. Sometimes the missing factor is leadership. Sometimes it is strategy, culture, communication, organizational structure, accountability, talent, or execution. Often, several are interconnected. Growth Factor helps leaders identify those factors, understand how they influence organizational performance, and turn them into opportunities for improvement.
We recognize that growth does not mean perfection. Effective leaders continually learn, reflect, adapt, and improve. Organizations capable of doing the same become stronger, more resilient, and better prepared for whatever comes next.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
-
Leave every organization better than you found it.
-
Create harmony from dissonance.
-
Never shy away from a difficult situation simply because it looks challenging.
These principles reflect how we approach our work - with optimism about what is possible, candor about
what must improve, and confidence that difficult challenges can be addressed through strong leadership,
thoughtful strategy, and disciplined execution.
OUR COMMITMENT
When Growth Factor accepts an engagement, we become invested in our client's success. That requires more than encouragement. It requires candor. It means asking difficult questions when necessary, listening before recommending, respecting the expertise that already exists within an organization, and bringing an objective perspective that helps leaders see opportunities they may not see from inside the work.
THE MEASURE IS WHAT CHANGES BECAUSE OF THE WORK
